Creating and Using Shorthands

This feature will allow users to create abbreviations for frequently used words so that they need not enter the full word or phrase and just enter the abbreviation in the description fields while adding Time Cards, Expense Cards, Matters, Invoices, Clients, and Payees.
 

How to Create Shorthands 

Start at the Setup tab at the top of the screen

Click “List Items”

Click “Shorthand” on the left side

Click “Add”

Enter the code and the description

Click “Save”

After the shorthand code has been created, go to any description field (time card for example) and type the @ symbol and then the code. Hit enter key, for the requested description to populate
