Record a Bank-to-Bank Funds Transfer or Credit Card Payment

You can record internal fund transfers between operating accounts, or between credit and operating accounts.

Record a Bank-to-Bank Transfer

To record a bank-to-bank funds transfer:

  1. From the left navigation panel, click Accounting.
  2. From atop the Accounting left navigation, click Bank.
  3. From the toolbar atop the Bank screen, click Action > Bank-to-Bank Transfer.
  4. On the Bank to Bank Transfer wizard, click Next.
  5. Click the radio button beside the appropriate transfer option.
  6. Click Next.
  7. In the Amount field, enter the transfer amount.
  8. In the Transfer section, select the From and To accounts.
  9. Click Next.
    The Additional Information screen opens.
  10. From the On field’s drop-down, click the transfer date.
  11. From the Type field’s drop-down, click the transfer type.
  12. From the Method field’s drop-down, click the transfer method.
  13. Check the To be Printed box, if applicable.
  14. In the Payee field, enter the payee’s name.
  15. Click Next.
    A transfer summary screen opens. 
  16. Confirm your information’s accuracy.
  17. Click Complete Transfer.
    The Bank to Bank Transfer message reads: Bank to Bank Transfer completed successfully.
  18. Click OK.
