Matter Cost Statement

The Matter Cost Statement details all costs associated with a matter. This includes costs the firm incurred as well as those to be paid from trust at a later date. 

Generate a Matter Cost Statement

  1. From the left navigation panel, click Matters.
  2. From the Matters screen, either double-click the matter, or single-click the matter to highlight it, then from the toolbar, click Details.
  3. The Matters Details screen opens. From its left navigation, click Banking.
  4. From the Banking  screen, click 3rd Party Bills.
  5. From the toolbar atop the 3rd Party Bills screen, click Action > Report – Matter Cost Statement.
  6. In the Options section of the Report – Matter Cost Statement screen, click the radio button for Only Firm Cost, Only Third Party, or All.
  7. From the Print As field’s drop-down, click your preferred report format.
  8. Click Generate.
    Your report downloads to your default location.
