You can record internal fund transfers between operating accounts, or between credit and operating accounts.
Record a Bank-to-Bank Transfer
To record a bank-to-bank funds transfer:
- From the left navigation panel, click Accounting.
- From atop the Accounting left navigation, click Bank.
- From the toolbar atop the Bank screen, click Action > Bank-to-Bank Transfer.
- On the Bank to Bank Transfer wizard, click Next.
- Click the radio button beside the appropriate transfer option.
- Click Next.
- In the Amount field, enter the transfer amount.
- In the Transfer section, select the From and To accounts.
- Click Next.
The Additional Information screen opens. - From the On field’s drop-down, click the transfer date.
- From the Type field’s drop-down, click the transfer type.
- From the Method field’s drop-down, click the transfer method.
- Check the To be Printed box, if applicable.
- In the Payee field, enter the payee’s name.
- Click Next.
A transfer summary screen opens. - Confirm your information’s accuracy.
- Click Complete Transfer.
The Bank to Bank Transfer message reads: Bank to Bank Transfer completed successfully. - Click OK.
