Restrict Users from Viewing Client Portal Notifications and Messages

Introduction

At times, you may need to restrict a user at the firm from having access to communicating with clients. In Cosmolex, you can restrict users from viewing and sending messages to clients on a matter level.

How To Set Up Restrictions

Simply, go to Matter Details Page > Click Client Portal Tab
 
Under Client Portal Parties section, you can click the “< ” symbol to put the user in restricted section and the change will be updated immediately.
 

The user will be restricted from accessing client chat as well as receiving client portal activity notifications.
