Limit a User’s Access to Bank Details

To limit a user’s access to bank details:

  1. From the left navigation panel, click Account.
  2. Atop the Account left navigation, click User Management.
  3. From the tabs atop the User Management screen, click User.
  4. On the User screen, double-click the user, or single-click them to highlight them, and then from the toolbar, click Edit.
  5. On the Edit User screen, scroll down to the Restrict Bank visibility section and check the box beside the section heading.

  1. Highlight items in the Restricted or Allowed columns, and then use the right and left arrows to move them from one to the other.

You can press and hold the Ctrl key to highlight several items at once.

The user can still perform and view matter-related activities such as receiving retainers, or invoice payments on restricted banks.

  2. In the lower right corner, click Save.
The system prompts you for your password.

  1. Enter your password.
  2. Click Verify.
The system updates the user’s permissions and restrictions. When the user logs in, their access under Accounting > Bank will reflect your changes.

As a default, when adding a new user and assigning the Normal role, the system restricts visibility for all banks. You can follow the process outlined above to change this.
