A Trust to General transfer typically occurs when you pay invoices from existing trust funds.
In Ontario, every electronic Trust to General transfer requires a completed Form 9A. In CosmoLex, your firm can print a pre-populated Form 9A for signing and dating.
Print Form 9A
To print Form 9A:
- From any transaction screen, select the trust transaction that was part of an electronic trust to general transfer (invoice payment from trust) with the following methods Bank Transfer, Credit Transfer, EFT/eCheck, and Wire Transfer. This includes bulk Trust to General transfers.
- From the toolbar. click Action > Print Form 9A.
You have the option to print Form 9A in PDF or MS Word.
Tip
If looking to generate a form 9B or 9C, print this form to word and make any needed changes.
