Within CosmoLex, each matter has a Matter Owner (Responsible Lawyer) and many reports can be run by Matter Owners. Billing by Matter Owner is an essential report which computes billed fee for Matter Owners in a given date range. This report is especially helpful for those who follow accrual accounting, in determining distributions to matter parties.
This report also provides summary totals for each Matter Owner as well as each Timekeeper.
To access this report, go to Reports > Financial Productivity > Billing by Matter Owner.
Report Filters
- Matter Owner – You can choose to run a report on billing for a particular Matter Owner or all Matter Owners in your firm.
- Invoice Date Range – Based on the date the invoice was generated. You can customize the date range to be covered in the report.
