CosmoLex Versions 6.6 and 6.7 Bring Performance Enhancements for Users

We started May off with the release of CosmoLex 6.6, which introduced the Job View and allows users to continue working while the system is processing large jobs in the background.

CosmoLex Version 6.7, released on May 17th, is an enhancement specifically for our Canadian users which increased default controls for multi-tax provinces. While CosmoLex supports all Canadian province tax structures, we have now increased the default controls for those who are in a multi-tax province (British Columbia, Manitoba, Quebec, Saskatchewan).

Occasionally in the multi-tax setups, you may have disbursements that require one tax, but not the other. While we had that flexibility on the disbursement entry screen itself, often the person entering the disbursement may not know the tax requirement. For that reason, we have now added the ability to set a more controlled default tax status for each disbursement. Managing Users in CosmoLex

As you are using your CosmoLex software, you may need to edit, re-invite, add or remove users. This is a function that can be done through the application by any Admin user of the account. Established in 2018, CosmoLex Client Relations works with all the other Departments at CosmoLex to ensure that we as a company are meeting your needs. We also handle all subscription-related billing questions.

Alicia Cordero, Client Relations

Now, more than ever, our communities need us to help those less fortunate than ourselves and while the world is focused on fighting COVID-19, other organizations are continuing their efforts to raise awareness and funds for those working on surviving other debilitating diseases.

Every year Alicia Cordero from the Client Relations Team spends countless hours fundraising, supporting, and bringing attention to the American Cancer Society in honor of both her grandfathers as well as a family friend, who passed away at the age of 13 from bone cancer.  June is known for being the time filled with Relay for Life celebrations all over the US and Canada and this year is no different, and yet completely different. While she won’t be able to walk during Relay this year due to COVID-19, this year Relay has moved online and she has already participated in a virtual Luminaria celebration and will take part in a virtual Recognition event later this year! 

If you would like to join her and the thousands of people working to find a cure you can do so across the US and Canada. On June 13 between 7 – 9 p.m. EDT, join Relay participants from across Canada to celebrate and Relay At Home. In the US, you can check with your local chapters and teams, who are still raising money to donate to the ACS, for interesting fundraising events. Together, we will show our communities that no one has to face cancer alone.
