CosmoLex 6.5.1 – Bank Error Management & More
Released on April 11, 2020, CosmoLex version 6.5.1 introduced Bank Error Management in Bank Reconciliation. Bank errors are mistakes made by the bank when depositing or withdrawing funds from your account. To prevent having to allocate these errors to a client or firm ledger, we have added the ability to account for these errors while in the reconciliation statement.
Along with Bank Error Management, our latest update also introduced Relation Fields to Document Assembly, and enhancements for printing and emailing invoices.

Utilizing Matter Relations in Document Assembly
As one of our newest enhancements to Document Assembly, it’s important to note that the system will now automatically create merge fields for matter relations. This has implications for both existing and future matters, including the fact that relations types must now be unique within a matter file (i.e. if two witnesses are included on a file one can be ‘Witness’ but the other must be labeled with a unique type such as ‘Witness 2’).
You can add newly needed relation types under Setup > List Items > Contact Type
