NEW FEATURES & ENHANCEMENTS

Drillable Dashboards

CosmoLex App’s homepage contains many firm level and user level dashboard data sets. Goal is to provide key information readily available as soon as you login so you can keep a pulse on the practice or even your activities. Now CosmoLex dashboards are fully “drillable” meaning you can click on any summary data and traverse through its details. Now that drillability is in place, we will continue to add additional features such as ability to print drilled data sets.

Interactive Dashboards

Apart from Dashboard data sets being drillable, these are now “interactive”. You can locate the required information and make changes to it right from there. For example you can add billing to Money Finder Item or view an invoice from Unpaid Invoices.

Accrual Accounting Reports

In USA, most small law firms operate on cash-basis accounting. However, in many jurisdiction such as Canada, Accrual Accounting is mandatory. CosmoLex now allows you to view key reports such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Trial Balances etc both on Cash Basis or Accrual Basis. Even if you do your tax reporting on Cash Basis, reviewing Accrual Basis reports has many benefits. For example, your income statement will provide current view of your expenses even though you may not have paid the bills.
