Surcharging in CosmoLexPay

When utilizing any payment processing company to accept credit cards, there are per-transaction processing fees.  With the increase in credit card usage, small firms especially may look to pass those fees onto their clients. With CosmolexPay, you have the option to set up your account with surcharging which permits CosmoLexPay to seek these fees directly from your client. Watch our user webinar below to learn more about surcharging with CosmoLexPay and how to get started.

Document Folder Configuration

A new document setting now allows users to configure the Matter Folder Root Path and Matter Folder Name used for document storage integrations within CosmoLex. This setting does not apply to CosmoLex native storage and NetDocuments. Files that are stored in the Matter Folder in CosmoLex can be viewed by following the configured root path {MatterFolderRootPath}/{MatterFolderName}

 Activities Restrictions

 With the ability to apply global restrictions in Activities screen for Time/Expense, Invoices, Task and Notes sections, Firm Admins now have more control over what users can access.

Notes as Search Filter

User can now filter by Time/Expense Notes by going to Activities > Time/Expense. User can also export these details in CSV and Excel.

Multiple Custom Field Selection

When filtering by Custom Field, you can now select multiple values.

Description Column in Create Invoice Screen

With the new Description column in the Create/Edit Invoice screen, users now have the option of locating their invoices by either the Task/Expense name or by Description.

  • User will only receive reminders for tasks on the dates set up to receive reminders.
  • System now recognizes version 2.0 of Easysoft Import Closing Ledger files.
